Lamellar base cream for dermatological formulations - dermaviduals® pharma

For face and body

The pharmaceutical base cream DVL-P corresponds to the DMS base cream High Classic in skin care. The properties of both creams are almost identical - with the difference that the base cream DVL-P also complies with the guidelines for pharmaceutical production (GMP).

Composition

The base cream consists of high-quality caring compounds such as phosphatidylcholine, shea butter, squalane and moisturizing substances. It does neither contain classic emulsifiers, nor fragrance, preservatives or mineral oils.

Properties

The white, easily spreading and fast penetrating cream revitalizes the skin without leaving oil shine.
The ingredients are consistent with the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur. 10.0), dem Deutschen Arzneimittel-Codex (DAC) und Drug Master Files (DMF):

Medium-chain triglycerides Ph. Eur. 10.0

Pentylenglykol DMF PH 250371 (EU)

Hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine DMF no. 10991 (USA), DMF no. 9791 (Canada)

Shea butter DAC 2017

Glycerin Ph. Eur. 10.0

Squalane Ph. Eur. 10.0

Purified water Ph. Eur. 10.0
Application

The base cream DVL-P serves the preparation of extemporaneous mixtures in the pharmacies. The base cream is compatible with nearly all pharmaceutical drugs. Dosages and stabilities are documented in the comprehensive monograph "dermaviduals® - lamellar base creams" .

Besides the manual preparation machine processing such as by Unguator® or Topitec® at low rotational speed is used. Preferred containers for the preparations are airless dispensers.
