Frequently anaerobic bacteria (living without oxygen) are involved similar to acne and rosacea. Hence lipid-enriched creams are contraindicated for the care of this sensitive skin. They would only result in a proliferation of bacteria below the external lipid film with the consequence that the skin may virtually "explode". Therefore it is recommended to use anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and recovery-supporting active agent concentrates in pure form and without lipid base. Nevertheless, if you still prefer using a cream, then apply it only very sparingly.
