Oleogel green R

Oleogel green R contains plant-based oils and barrier substances, as well as azelaic acid, betulinic acid, urea, frankincense extract and zinc PCA in a water-free formulation. Mineral pigments give the product a subtle green tint, which visually conceals redness. The complementary colour green neutralises red. Thanks to its natural phosphatidylcholine content, it is quickly absorbed by the skin.

Like Oleogel R, Oleogel green R is formulated for the care of sensitive skin prone to rosacea.

When the skin’s barrier function is impaired, there is a significant need for high-dose lipids. However, the use of lipid-rich skin preparations is generally contraindicated – particularly when anaerobic bacteria are involved in the affected skin. Oleogel green R has a maximum lipid content without this drawback.

Azelaic acid, boswellic acids and betulinic acid help to prevent inflammatory skin reactions. Urea has an anti-itching and moisturising effect, whilst zinc compounds provide an antimicrobial effect. Like Oleogel R, Oleogel green R is extremely economical — even small amounts are sufficient for application.

Oleogel green R can be applied to targeted areas or across the entire face, ensuring it is distributed evenly. It is suitable for use as a standalone day cream with a colour-correcting effect, or as a base under make-up.
