Every skin condition is different and requires different, customised treatments and products at all times if skin care is to be optimal. In addition to the skin condition, such as dry, moist, oily and low-fat skin, dermatological indications, such as acne, dermatitis and psoriasis, must be taken into account for individual skin care. 

Functionality

The software and the data from the individual components of the modular system and the dermaviduals^® finished products are used to calculate personalised combinations of active ingredients and preparations respectively mixtures. dermaviduals^®-formula determines the optimum compositions, including the display of counterproductive components in the case of manual selection. 

The corneotherapy software is based on the input of the cosmetic and/or medical diagnosis of the skin condition and the skin problem. At the end, the selection and dosage of suitable modular active ingredient concentrates and preparations are displayed.

dermaviduals^®-formula does not replace specialised knowledge. The term "indication" refers to the cosmetic care or supportive cosmetic prevention of the corresponding problem skin with regard to the dermatological diagnosis. This procedure is not to be understood in the sense of "healing". In cases of doubt, a dermatologist should be consulted before applying the cosmetic care accompanying the indication. 

The use of the software complies with the current European Cosmetics Directive (KVO).

Registration

The use of dermaviduals^®-formula takes place with the help of the Internet browser. The address for dermaviduals^® clients, which include cosmetic institutes, dermatological practices and authorised pharmacies, is: https://formula.dermaviduals.de.

New clients select their national language and go directly to "Registration form" to enter their personal data. After saving the data on the "Registration form" page, new clients receive an e-mail from the system asking them to confirm their personal e-mail address.

After confirming the personal e-mail address, the system will send a second e-mail informing you that the registration process has started and may take 1-2 working days. 

After registration, a third e-mail from the system will ask you to choose a password. Once the password has been sent, dermaviduals^®-formula is ready for use. 

You can then access dermaviduals^®-formula using your personal e-mail address and password.

Operating instructions

The operation of dermaviduals^®-formula is self-explanatory. 

As already mentioned, dermaviduals^®-formula is characterised by the fact that, in addition to skin conditions, skin indications can also be included in the calculation of skin care recommendations. As with skin conditions (e.g. lipid content, TEWL), multiple selections (e.g. rosacea and perioral dermatitis) and combinations are also permitted for skin indications.  

The calculation of mixtures and finished products is based on the assumption that skin conditions and indications affect the same area of the body. If this is not the case, the results may be contradictory.

Different modular mixtures and ready-to-use preparations may therefore need to be used for differently affected areas of the body. 

When selecting the modular components and finished products, it may be advisable to first look at the results for skin condition and skin indication separately and then in combination in order to manually prioritise the components in the combination. 

dermaviduals^®-formula is designed for saleable modular mixtures that are mixed in specially designed dispensers as a service for users. The software does not include combinations of basic components such as base cream, base gel, individual mask and individual lotion. Such mixtures are possible in individual cases, but are limited to direct use in professional treatments. The same applies to mixtures that only consist of active ingredient concentrates from the modular system.

Prerequisite

Before using dermaviduals^®-formula, it is recommended that you attend the dermaviduals^® Starter seminar to familiarise yourself with the modular system and the finished products in detail.
